Edwige Fenech (1948 - ), born on Christmas Eve in Algeria (North Africa) to French parents, is an actress who appeared in over 60 mostly Italian produced comedies, skinflicks and horror films beginning in the late-1960's with All Mad About Him (1967) and Sexy Susan Sins Again (1968).Throughout her career there is an an alluring intelligence in her uninhibited performances that only added to her screen appeal. During her peak, Edwige looked very much like 1970's American porn starlet turned director Veronica Hart combined with the wild intensity of Rosalba Neri - who Edwige appeared with in the The Seducers (1969).
Fenech's career is far from over. In 2007, she was invited by Quentin Tarantino to appear in Eli Roth's second installment of Hostel. Her production company has been making television programming and films in Italy since the early 1980's.
