Terrified hu-mons run for cover when the Sleaze-A-Saurus's cousin makes an unexpected (but also expected) appearance in Pennsylvania.
28 miles northwest of Philadelphia, the 13th Annual Blobfest was held in the small East Coast town Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. On Sunday, July 15th 2012, the town dialed back the clock to 1958 the year when Steve McQueen originally starred in The Blob, a movie shot in Phoenixville, including the fully restored Colonial Theater where many of today's events and screenings were centered.
The movie that the fest takes it's name from, The Blob, was a low-budget horror film that became a full-fledged cult classic that is remembered today for it's schlocky acting, upbeat score, strange special effects and focus on them bygone days of yesteryear made up of malt shops, makin' time with your best gal and classic American cars.
